O scale U23B Exhaust Stack – Item 900U23003. The rectangular dimensions of 7.72 mm x 19.15 mm fit a slot on the body. That is no real problem .. the biggest problem is the 58.5 mm radius (about 2.3″) to fit the curve of the Atlas U23B long hood.
Fitting Stack to Long Hood
Here is what I was talking about. The radius of the long hood doesn’t match .. in fact has a flat spot across center but I can fix that simply by reworking the long hood to match the radius of the Atlas U23B Exhaust Stack. That needs to be done now though before I continue any further. Come to think of it .. I need to make sure the rounded ends match the BB-section exactly.
